Should be required in all learning institutions August 16, 2009 By Deborah Mccain "dpm" (California) I have used the Diana Hacker books since entering graduate school years ago. As a late re-entry into higher education, I had been schooled in footnotes, etc. Using this books kept me aware of the revised requirements for citation and formatting. Unfortunately, many institutions of higher learning buy reference guides that are packaged with a textbook. They are very often outdated or difficult to use.
